Advanced Dental Care
A professional teeth cleaning is important to keeping your pet healthy. We use modern ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Digital X-rays are taken on every patient to ensure the best possible treatment for your pet. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth tooth surface more resistant to plaque and tarter buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Poor dental health can lead to liver, kidney, and even heart problems.

Teeth cleaning is done under general anesthesia. The pets are carefully monitored with electronic equipment while the technician works. |

Retained Canine Tooth The smaller, curved tooth behind the canine tooth is a baby tooth and should have already fallen out. If left in it can cause damage to permanent canine tooth, along with painful misalignment of teeth since it is taking up space. |

Dental X-rays are mandatory for proper evaluation of the teeth. Pets are x-rayed while under anesthesia to look for abscesses, broken roots, and other hidden problems.
